Oh boy! iOS 5 will be released later today, and iPhone users have been waiting patiently for this day for several months. But why should you update? For one thing, Apple has added so many new features to this free update, it’s hard to believe it’s free. Blackberry style messaging through iMessage brings functionality and the ability to send messages freely between people with iOS devices, independently of carrier provided texting and MMS plans. There are literally hundreds of features under the hood that make this the most significant iOS update yet.
